How to Style an Oversized Shirt Dress?

This time we have added a twist of creativity to our wardrobe.
Neelam and I had a major discussion on how to get creative in order to give a major contemporary twist on classic clothes.

While discussing, we had three things in mind:

➡ Think outside the box.
➡ Let’s not play it safe.
➡ Break the stereotype in dressing.

So let’s do it together.

Many of you must be having at least one Oversized Shirt or a Shirt Dress in your wardrobe. If not, steal a shirt from your dad or boyfriend.:D

The Shirt Dress is a perfect styling option. It can be dressed up and down effortlessly. Also, it is a super versatile addition to the summer wardrobe.

We will show you how you can style this one Shirt Dress (Brand: GAP) in 4 different ways.

#LookOne: Just the Shirt Dress:

This oversized Shirt Dress works exceptionally well for any casual outing.
All you need is to pick a thin belt to accentuate the thinnest part of your waist.

To complete the look go for:
Hairstyle: Side-swept touseled hair.

#LookTwo: The Layer Approach:

With this layered approach, you can have a classy and stylish appeal. It works on almost every body type.
To get this look just slip on a casual white knotted crop top and cinch the trouser with a wide belt. Shrug on the shirt dress and roll up the sleeves.

#LookThree: The Drop Down Halter look:

We have never thought that we can create an incredible classy dress without having to change a stitch on the Shirt Dress.

To get this look, wear this long-sleeved dress around your body (collar should be in the front and buttons on the back side), leaving the arms slack at your side. Hold on to both the sleeves and cross them, one over the other across the neck. And you’re ready to hit the town!

#LookFour: Just Tie It Off!

To get an elegant look, pair this Shirt Dress with a white collared crop top. Slip on the Shirt Dress over your torso, leave the arms slack at your side. Unbutton the few buttons, and tuck the top part of the dress neatly.
Hold on to both the sleeves and cross them over your waist. And out the door, you go!
